Welcome to our alumni page. Throughout the years we have been blessed to have brothers contribute so much to the sound and message of our music. We would like to acknowledge them here:
Die Early Live Longer and History of You. Michael was a founding member of Shepherds View along with Dave Dunkel back in the late 90’s. Michael made a significant impact on the sound of the band and was a catalyst for moving away from 70’s rock covers to original Christian worship. Michael left the band in 2015 and went home to be with the Lord in 2017.
Die Early Live Longer, History of You, Till The End of My Days. Brandt joined Shepherds View after the change to Christian Worship and contributed significantly to the vocal sound of the band. (He sings on Can’t You See Me and the modified cover of Some Kind of Wonderful.) Brandt lives in St. Petersburg and leads worship.
History of You and Till The End of My Days. Richard joined Shepherds View back in the mid 2000’s at the urging of Michael Anderson and Dave Dunkel. Richard is well known in the Tampa Bay area as a premier audio engineer. He dusted off his chops and brought his own influence from the 70’s to the band. Richard has stepped back for the time being due to family issues.
Die Early Live Longer. Kevin joined for a one album stint before leaving the band and the Tampa Bay area shortly after Shepherds View started work on History of You. Kevin brought a driving drum pattern to help shape the 70’s sound.
Die Early Live Longer. John was a premier guitar player for several decades and was well known as one of the top guitarists in the Tampa Bay area. John re-taught Dave guitar in the late 90’s and joined the band for the first CD contributing many of the lead riffs. John departed due to health reasons in the late 2000’s and went home to be with the Lord in 2017.
